حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , وَيَزِيدُ , قَالَا : أخبرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : عَطَاءٌ : قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ , أَخْبَرَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ شَاةً مَاتَتْ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا دَبَغْتُمْ إِهَابَهَا ، فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed by a dead goat. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Why did you not benefit from its skin?
