حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا فَزَارَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَزَوَّجَهَا حَلَالًا ، وَبَنَى بِهَا حَلَالًا ، وَمَاتَتْ بِسَرِفَ ، فَدَفَنَهَا فِي الظُّلَّةِ الَّتِي بَنَى بِهَا فِيهَا ، فَنَزَلْنَا فِي قَبْرِهَا ، أَنَا وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ .
Yazid bin Asam says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) married Maymunah while she was not yet a mahram, and he was alone with her while she was still not a mahram. She passed away at a place called Saraf, and we buried her at the same place where the Prophet (peace be upon him) had been alone with her in a tent. I and Ibn Abbas descended into her grave.
