حَدِيثُ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ الْهِلَالِيَّةِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَHadith of Maymunah bint al-Harith al-Hilaliyyah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْبُوذٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ , سَمِعَتْهُ مِنْ مَيْمُونَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " وَكَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَبْسُطُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخُمْرَةَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would come to one of us and she would be in her days (of menstruation), then she would stand up and spread a mat for the Prophet (peace be upon him), and in that state she would place it at the spot where the Prophet (peace be upon him) would pray.
