حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، تَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا نَائِمَةٌ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ ، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ ، أَصَابَنِي ثِيَابُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that she was in her menstrual period and would lie in front of the prayer mat of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) would continue to pray on his mat, and when he went into prostration, a part of his garment would touch me as well.
