حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ , أَنَّ فَأْرَةً وَقَعَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ ، فَمَاتَتْ ، فَسُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " خُذُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا ، فَأَلْقُوهُ ، وَكُلُوهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that once someone asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the ruling if a mouse falls into ghee and dies. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If the ghee is solid, then remove the part (where the mouse fell) and the ghee around it, and then use the remaining ghee.
