حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْمَاجِشُونِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ رُمَيْثَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : وَلَوْ أَشَاءُ أَنْ أُقَبِّلَ الْخَاتَمَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ مِنْ قُرْبِي مِنْهُ ، لَفَعَلْتُ , يَقُولُ : " اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى " , يُرِيدُ سَعْدَ بْنَ مُعَاذٍ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Rumaisa that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that at the death of Saad bin Muadh, the Divine Throne shook. At that time, I was so close to the Prophet (peace be upon him) that if I wished to kiss the Seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, I could have done so.
