حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيّ حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , تَقُولُ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي ، وَعَلَيَّ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ وَاحِدٌ ، فِيهِ كَانَ مَا كَانَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that I once saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) offering prayer, and there was one garment over both me and the Prophet (peace be upon him), and whatever was attached to it was attached to it.
