Hadith 26706

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ سَابِطٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ سورة البقرة آية 223 , قَالَ : " صِمَامًا وَاحِدًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that regarding the explanation of this verse, "Your wives are your fields, so come to your field as you wish," the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It means in the front opening (whether the man comes from behind or from the front)."
