حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : بَيْنَا أَنَا مُضْطَجِعَةٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ , إِذْ حِضْتُ فَانْسَلَلْتُ ، فَأَخَذْتُ ثِيَابَ حَيْضَتِي ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنُفِسْتِ ؟ " , قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ , فَدَعَانِي فَاضْطَجَعْتُ مَعَهُ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ ، وَكَانَتْ هِيَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ الْوَاحِدِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ , وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ " , قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : حَدَّثَنَاه هُدْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، بِإِسْنَادِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَمَعْنَاهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) under a blanket when my menstruation began. I started to move away, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Has your menstruation started?" I replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then I left, set myself right, and tied a cloth. Then I returned and entered the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) blanket, and I used to perform ghusl with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the same vessel, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss me even while he was fasting.
