حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَيْقَظَ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ وَهُوَ يَسْتَرْجِعُ , قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا شَأْنُكَ ؟ قَالَ : " طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ , ثُمَّ يُبْعَثُونَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ ، فَيَأْتِي مَكَّةَ ، فَيَمْنَعُهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ ، وَيُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ ، مَصْرَعُهُمْ وَاحِدٌ ، وَمَصَادِرُهُمْ شَتَّى " , قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مَصْرَعُهُمْ وَاحِدًا , وَمَصَادِرُهُمْ شَتَّى ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ يُكْرَهُ ، فَيَجِيءُ مُكْرَهًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up from his sleep reciting "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what happened?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A group from my Ummah will be swallowed by the earth. Then those people will send an army towards a man in Makkah Mukarramah. Allah will protect that man from them and will cause them to be swallowed by the earth. They will all fall in the same place, but their places of resurrection will be different." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how will that be?" He replied, "Some of them will be people who were forced to join the army, so they will be resurrected in that state."
