حَدِيثُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَHadith of Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي هِنْدُ ابْنَةُ الْحَارِثِ الْقُرَشِيَّةُ , أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهَا , " أَنَّ النِّسَاءَ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ قُمْنَ ، وَثَبَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَثَبَتَ مَنْ صَلَّى مِنَ الرِّجَالِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، فَإِذَا قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَامَ الرِّجَالُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the salam, the women would begin to get up as soon as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) completed the salam, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would remain seated in his place for a while before standing up.
