حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ : " يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا فِي رَمَضَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) in the morning, then he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and complete the fast for the rest of the day.
