حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ أَوْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنْحَرَ فِي هِلَالِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، فَلَا يَأْخُذْ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ وَأَظْفَارِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah begin and a person intends to offer a sacrifice, then he should not touch (cut or trim) the hair of his (head) or any part (hair) of his body.
