Hadith 26644

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ هِنْدِ ابْنَةِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا سَلَّمَ ، مَكَثَ قَلِيلًا ، وَكَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ كَيْمَا يَنْفُذُ النِّسَاءُ قَبْلَ الرِّجَالِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the salam, the women would begin to get up as soon as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) completed the salam, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would remain seated in his place for a while before standing up.
