حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , وَالْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ , عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا : " إِنْ شِئْتِ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ ، وَإِنْ أُسَبِّعْ لَكِ ، أُسَبِّعْ لِنِسَائِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married her, he said: "If you wish, I will spend seven days with you, but then I will also spend seven days with each of my other wives."
