حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَوْلًى لِأَبِي سَلَمَةَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ , سَمِعَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ ، تَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ حِينَ سَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا ، وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا ، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate after the Fajr prayer: O Allah! I ask You for beneficial knowledge, accepted deeds, and lawful sustenance.
