It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once came to Dubaa’ah bint Zubair bin Abdul Muttalib, who was ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her, “Will you not travel with us on this journey?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended the Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjatul Wada’). She replied, “O Messenger of Allah, I am ill and I fear that my illness may prevent me from completing the rites.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “You should enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj and make the intention: ‘O Allah! The place where You stop me, that will be the place where my Ihram will be released.’”
