Hadith 26573

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَكْثَرُ مَا عَلِمْتُ أُتِيَ بِهِ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمَالِ بِخَرِيطَةٍ ، فِيهَا ثَمَانِ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that to the best of my knowledge, no more than eight hundred dirhams ever came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in any pouch.
