حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْأَشْيَبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَرَّاجٌ ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ نِسْوَةً دَخَلْنَ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ مِنْ أَهْلِ حِمْصَ ، فَسَأَلَتْهُنَّ مِمَّنْ أَنْتُنَّ ؟ فقُلْنَ : مِنْ أَهْلِ حِمْصَ ، فَقَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ نَزَعَتْ ثِيَابَهَا فِي غَيْرِ بَيْتِهَا ، خَرَقَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا سِتْرًا " .
Saib reports that once some women from Homs came to Umm Salama. She asked them, "Where have you come from?" They replied, "From the city of Homs." Umm Salama said, "I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'Any woman who removes her clothes anywhere other than her house, Allah will tear away her veil.'"
