حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْنَا مِنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ ، قَالَتْ : حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي ، قَالَتْ : كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ فَحِضْتُ ، فَانْسَلَلْتُ مِنَ الْخَمِيلَةِ ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنُفِسْتِ ؟ " فَقُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَلَبِسْتُ ثِيَابَ حَيْضَتِي ، فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَهُ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ , قَالَتْ : وَكُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ , قَالَتْ : وَكَانَ يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with the Prophet (peace be upon him) under a blanket when my menstruation began. I started to move away, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Have your days begun?" I replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then I left, arranged myself, and tied a cloth. After that, I returned and entered the Prophet's (peace be upon him) blanket, and I used to perform ghusl with the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the same vessel. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) would also kiss while fasting.
