حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْحَسَنِ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُمْ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " شَبَّرَ لِفَاطِمَةَ شِبْرًا مِنْ نِطَاقِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a piece of cloth measuring one span from her waistband to Hazrat Fatimah.
