It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying in her room when Abdullah bin Umar passed in front of him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to him with his hand, so he moved back. Then Umm Salamah’s daughter began to pass by, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped her as well, but she passed in front. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Women prevail.”
