حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّازِيُّ وَهُوَ خَتَنُ سَلَمَةَ الْأَبْرَشِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ابْنَةِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " يَأْتِي جَيْشٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ ، يُرِيدُونَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ ، خُسِفَ بِهِمْ فَرَجَعَ مَنْ كَانَ أَمَامَهُمْ لِيَنْظُرَ مَا فَعَلَ الْقَوْمُ ، فَيُصِيبَهُمْ مِثْلُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ " , فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَكَيْفَ بِمَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ مُسْتَكْرَهًا ؟ قَالَ : " يُصِيبُهُمْ كُلَّهُمْ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ كُلَّ امْرِئٍ عَلَى نِيَّتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hafsa that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "An army will surely set out from the east with the intention of attacking this House (the Ka'bah). When they reach a place called Bayda, the middle part of their army will be swallowed by the earth, and the people at the front and rear will call out to each other, but only one man among them will survive who will inform the people about them." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what will happen to the person who was forcibly included in that army?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "This calamity will befall all of them, but Allah will resurrect each person according to his intention."
