حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ , قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَيَؤُمَّنَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ جَيْشٌ يَغْزُونَهُ ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ ، خُسِفَ بِأَوْسَطِهِمْ ، فَيُنَادِي أَوَّلُهُمْ وَآخِرُهُمْ ، فَلَا يَنْجُو إِلَّا الشَّرِيدُ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ عَنْهُمْ " , فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : كَذَا وَاللَّهِ ، مَا كَذَبْتُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ ، وَلَا كَذَبَتْ حَفْصَةُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Hafsa that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "An army will surely set out with the intention of attacking this House (the Ka'bah). When they reach a place called Bayda, the middle part of their army will be swallowed by the earth, and the people at the front and rear will call out to each other, but only one man among them will survive who will inform the people about them." Someone said, "Indeed, it will happen exactly like that, by Allah. I have not falsely attributed anything to Hazrat Hafsa, nor has Hazrat Hafsa fabricated anything about the Prophet (peace be upon him)."
