حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : لَقِيتُ ابْنَ صَائِدٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، فَأَمَّا مَرَّةً فَلَقِيتُهُ وَمَعَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ , قَالَ : وَنَخَرَ كَأَشَدِّ نَخِيرِ حِمَارٍ سَمِعْتُهُ ، قَالَ : فَزَعَمَ أَصْحَابِي أَنِّي ضَرَبْتُهُ بِعَصًا كَانَتْ مَعِي حَتَّى انْكَسَرَتْ ، وَأَمَّا أَنَا ، فَلَمْ أَشْعُرْ بِذَلِكَ ، فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُخْتِي حَفْصَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَتْ : وَمَا أَرَدْتَ إِلَيْهِ ؟ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ خُرُوجِهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ لِغَضْبَةٍ يَغْضَبُهَا ؟ " .
It is narrated from Ibn Umar that I saw Ibn Sayyad twice. Then the narrator mentioned the whole situation and said that when Hafsa found out about this, she said to him, "What do you have to do with him? Why are you provoking him? Have you not heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that someone will anger the Dajjal and he will emerge in that anger?"
