حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ وَكَانَتْ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ فِيهَا أَحَدٌ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ : " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ يَطْلُعُ الْفَجْرُ تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَيُنَادِي الْمُنَادِي بِالصَّلَاةِ ، قَالَ أَيُّوبُ : أُرَاهُ قَالَ : خَفِيفَتَيْنِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Hafsa that at the time of the true dawn, when no one would come to the Prophet (peace be upon him) at that time, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would perform two rak'ahs, and the caller would begin to give the call to prayer for Salah.
