حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ابْنَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَتْ : كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ ، صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي ، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ " , وَإِذَا خَرَجَ ، صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي ، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Fatimah al-Zahra that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the mosque, he would first recite blessings and peace, then he would recite this supplication: "O Allah, forgive my sins and open the doors of Your mercy for me." And when he would leave the mosque, he would also first recite blessings and peace, then he would recite this supplication: "O Allah, forgive my sins and open the doors of Your bounty for me."
