وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي : حَدَّثَنِي
عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي , وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should say, "My soul has become impure," but he may say, "My heart has become hardened."
