حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْمَرْأَةُ كَالضِّلَعِ , إِنْ أَقَمْتَهَا كَسَرْتَهَا , وَهِيَ يُسْتَمْتَعُ بِهَا عَلَى عِوَجٍ فِيهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A woman is like a rib; if you try to straighten her, you will break her, but you can benefit from her with her crookedness.
