حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ أَبُو الْحَارِثِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ , وَالشَّمْسُ لَمْ تَخْرُجْ مِنْ حُجْرَتِهَا , وَكَانَ الْجِدَارُ بَسْطَةً , وَأَشَارَ عَامِرٌ بِيَدِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the Asr prayer at a time when the sunlight had not yet left my chamber.
