حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ , قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَمَلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , كَانَ يَخُصُّ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ , قَالَتْ : " لَا , وَأَيُّكُمْ يُطِيقُ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْمَلُ " .
Alqamah says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the voluntary prayers of the Prophet (peace be upon him). She replied, "Which of you has the strength that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had? However, remember that every action of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was consistent."
