حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ إِذَا فَرَقْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ , صَدَعْتُ فَرْقَةً عَنْ يَافُوخِه , وَأَرْسَلْتُ نَاصِيَتَهُ بَيْنَ صُدْغَيْه " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when I used to apply oil to the blessed head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I would part the hair from the top of the head and leave the forehead untouched.
