حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : فَحَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : كَانَ آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ قَالَ : " لَا يُتْرَكُ بِجَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ دِينَانِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the last will of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was that two religions should not be allowed to remain in the Arabian Peninsula (there should be only one religion, and that is Islam).
