حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : فَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ : خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْحَجِّ لِخَمْسِ لَيَالٍ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ , وَلَا يَذْكُرُ النَّاسُ إِلَّا الْحَجَّ , حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِسَرِفَ , وَقَدْ سَاقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيَ , وَأَشْرَافٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ , أَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَحِلُّوا بِعُمْرَةٍ إِلَّا مَنْ سَاقَ الْهَدْيَ , وَحِضْتُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ , فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي , فَقَالَ : " مَا لَكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ لَعَلَّكِ نَفِسْتِ ؟ " قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ , وَاللَّهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخْرُجْ مَعَكُمْ عَامِي هَذَا فِي هَذَا السَّفَرِ , قَالَ : " لَا تَفْعَلِي , لَا تَقُولِي ذَلِكَ , فَإِنَّكِ تَقْضِينَ كُلَّ مَا يَقْضِي الْحَاجُّ إِلَّا أَنَّكِ لَا تَطُوفِينَ بِالْبَيْتِ " ، قَالَتْ فَمَضَيْتُ عَلَى حَجَّتِي وَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ , فَحَلَّ كُلُّ مَنْ كَانَ لَا هَدْيَ مَعَهُ , وَحَلَّ نِسَاؤُهُ بِعُمْرَةٍ , فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ أُتِيتُ بِلَحْمِ بَقَرٍ كَثِيرٍ , فَطُرِحَ فِي بَيْتِي , فَقُلْتُ : مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالُوا : ذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ الْبَقَرَ , حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ الْحَصْبَةِ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ أَخِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ , فَأَعْمَرَنِي مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ , مَكَانَ عُمْرَتِي الَّتِي فَاتَتْنِي وحَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ فِي الْحَجِّ : وَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِسَاءَهُ فَحَلَلْنَ بِعُمْرَةٍ , وَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَحِلَّ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ , وَأَمَرَ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ مِنْ أَشْرَافِ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَثْبُتَ عَلَى حُرْمِهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we recited the Talbiyah for Hajj, and when we reached the place of Sarif, my "periods" began. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and I was crying. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Aisha! Why are you crying?" I replied, "My 'periods' have started. I wish I had not come for Hajj." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Subhan Allah! This is something Allah has decreed for all the daughters of Adam (peace be upon him). You should perform all the rites, except do not perform the Tawaf of the House (Ka'bah)." When we entered Makkah Mukarramah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever wishes to convert his Ihram to Umrah may do so, except the one who has a sacrificial animal with him." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered a cow on behalf of his wives on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah. On the night at Batha, I became "pure" and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will my companions return with both Hajj and Umrah, and I will return with only Hajj?" So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr, and he took me to Tan'eem, from where I entered into Ihram for Umrah.
