Hadith 26332

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ , أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ : " فُوَيْسِقٌ " قَالَتْ : وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared the lizard to be harmful, but I did not hear him order the killing of the lizard.
