حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ , عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ : أَهْوَى إِلَيّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُقَبِّلَنِي , قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ , قَالَتْ : فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ " ثُمَّ قَبَّلَنِي .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) extended his hand to kiss me, so I said that I am fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I am also fasting," then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) extended his hand towards me and kissed me.
