It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the passing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the noble wives wished to send Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) to Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) in order to receive their share from the inheritance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said to them, "Do you not know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'We do not leave anything as inheritance; whatever we leave behind is charity.'"
