ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2622

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَتَصَدَّقُ ، ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِي صَدَقَتِهِ ، كَالَّذِي يَقِيءُ ، ثُمَّ يَأْكُلُ قَيْئَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The example of the one who takes back his gift after giving it is like that of a dog who vomits and then licks it up again."
