It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Satan comes to any one of you and says, "Who created you?" and he replies, "Allah did," then Satan asks, "Who created Allah?"—in such a situation, he should say, "Aamantu billahi wa rusulihi" ("I believe in Allah and His messengers"). By this, Satan will go away from him.
