حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ , قَالَ : سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer two short rak'ahs before Fajr, then would lie down on his right side.
