حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ , عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ , عَنِ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي ؟ قَالَتْ : " كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْهَجِيرَ , ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
Shurayh says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer?" She replied that he used to perform the Zuhr prayer and after that he would perform two rak'ahs.
