حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ , عَنْ خَصِيفٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مُنْذُ ثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : أَجْمَرْتُ شَعْرِي إِجْمَارًا شَدِيدًا , فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ , أَمَا عَلِمْتِ أَنَّ عَلَى كُلِّ شَعَرَةٍ جَنَابَةً ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I tied my hair into a very tight braid, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "O Aisha! Do you not know that the effect of janabah reaches every strand of hair?"
