Hadith 2616

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of all people, and he was even more generous in the month of Ramadan when Jibreel Amin (peace be upon him) would meet him. Every night of Ramadan, Jibreel (peace be upon him) would review the Noble Qur'an with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). On the morning after the night when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite the Qur'an to Jibreel (peace be upon him), he (the Prophet) would become more generous than the fast-blowing wind.
