حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرَ صَلَاتِهِ الْوَتْرُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray at night, the last prayer he performed was the Witr prayer.
