حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ أَلَيْسَ ذُكِرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصْبِحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ ؟ " , فَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ : حَدَّثَنِيهِ حَمَّادٌ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) in the morning, then he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and observe the fast.
