حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ , عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَالْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ , فَقَالَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ , اسْتَعِيذِي بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذَا , فَإِنَّ هَذَا الْغَاسِقُ إِذَا وَقَبَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held my hand and showed me the moon which was rising, and said, "Aisha! Seek refuge with Allah from the evil of this dark night when it overspreads."
