ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2613

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ اخْتَصَمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَأَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، الْمُدَّعِيَ الْبَيِّنَةَ ؟ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بَيِّنَةٌ ، فَاسْتَحْلَفَ الْمَطْلُوبَ ، فَحَلَفَ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّكَ قَدْ حَلَفْتَ ، وَلَكِنْ قَدْ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ بِإِخْلَاصِكَ قَوْلَكَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that two men brought a dispute to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the claimant for witnesses, but he had no witnesses. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) demanded an oath from the defendant. He swore an oath, saying: "By Allah, besides whom there is no deity." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have indeed sworn an oath, but due to the sincerity in your saying of «لَا إِلٰهَ ِإلَّا اللّٰهُ», all your sins have been forgiven."
