حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ , عَنْ كَثِيرٍ , عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى وَعَلَيْهِ مِرْطٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ عَلَيْهِ بَعْضُهُ وَعَلَيْهَا بَعْضُهُ " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up and pray, one corner of the blanket would be over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the other corner would be over Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would continue to pray.
