حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ , عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ إِلَّا فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the hand to be cut off for theft of a quarter dinar or more.
