Hadith 26102

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " وَإِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُدْخِلُ عَلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ , وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ , فَأُرَجِّلُهُ , وَكَانَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ إِلَّا إِذَا أَرَادَ الْوُضُوءَ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to observe i'tikaf and would extend his head out from the mosque, and I would comb it. He would only enter the house for ablution.
